Why he’s running: Reutzel said he brings common sense as a business leader and the perspective of a parent who has had a great experience in Littleton Public Schools. He said he also tries to seek consensus and has the ability to bring groups together to help LPS achieve a greater position.
He said he supports the district’s effort to put $80 million into infrastructure. He’s not looking to change things too much, but to tweak things to get the most benefit for students.
“The people want to elect directors who know how the district got to be in its great position now, and how to mange the district in such a way that we continue to excel.”
He wanted to emphasize that he thinks the district performs remarkably well and would like to continue to foster relationships with parents and stay on the course the district is on.
