Why he’s running: Graczyk said he brings a willingness to get residents more involved in the direction of the city. He said he feels there is voter apathy because residents don’t know what’s going in Castle Pines.
“What I’m trying to do is to get both sides to do a better job of communicating,” Graczyk said
He said through canvassing he’s found a good number of residents don’t even know who the mayor is and aren’t active on the metropolitan district board or homeowners associations. He said he feels Mayor Jeff Huff has done a good job for residents, but they don’t know about it.
He said the first thing he will do as a council member is to collect as many e-mail addresses he can in Ward 2 to communicate the issues that affect residents. He said residents also are concerned about why their water bills are so high.
